Collapse Transmigration, Doting Love Interests, Male Protagonist, Special Abilities After reading a third of the book, I give it a 7/10 but there’s some things to know before diving in:1. Yaoi. This book contains gay couples so if you don’t like that stuff, don’t read it.2. Childish characters. The characters in this novel feel like they were written by teenagers. Their actions, thoughts, and words are so childish. They fight over petty arguments and always use fighting to solve their issues. There is no meaningful conversation between the characters at all. It just feels like the characters will never have any emotional development to them and I can’t really connect to them as a reader because they just feel so shallowly written.3. The Mc. One would think the mc would be a good, humble person when they learn about his sad background but he’s not. He is immature beyond belief and the title isn’t wrong when it calls him a “fool.” He curses like a sailor in every dialogue he has and his thoughts make no sense sometimes, which leads him to embarrassing himself after doing something dumb. I get that the author is trying to make him funny and relatable to the audience, but he just isn’t funny to me. The mc feels weak as a character and doesn’t show any maturity at all. Something gets revealed to him later on that could’ve been an emotional moment but the author doesn’t allow that to happen. 4. Treatment. Every character in the novel seems to believe that the mc is their personal punching bag. The mc is treated terribly by everyone and constantly gets physically hurt by them or they watch him get hurt and do nothing. No one explains anything to him at all yet get angry at him when he doesn’t understand what’s happening. Don’t even get me started on his biological mother. The worst thing is the mc is too weak to do anything or doesn’t stand up for himself. 5. Confusing plot. The outline of the story is interesting and has a lot of depth to it, but the way the author writes about it ruins it for me. They dump a load of background information in the beginning and then add more information about characters or their relevance at random moments in the story. There’s also a bunch of little conflicts in the story that add nothing to the story at all, just meaningless drama. It just feels like the author rushed the story and didn’t take a second to think about how everything will connect together. Don’t get me wrong, the basis of the story is great, the execution is just terrible. There are grammar issues in every chapter but they don’t make the reading unbearable. Something about this story just feels off to me so I will switch to another to read. Please still give the story a try if it interests you because I’ve only read until chapter 36.
